Stay Blessed by Exercising Power of Truth & Patience

Dear Friends,

Everyone claims to be patient, but only the humble are firm in it. Everyone denies his anxiety, although it is quite obvious in a hypocrite because the onset of trials and afflictions tells you who is truthful and who is a liar.

Patience is a sensation that continuously prevails in one’s consciousness, but what occurs upon a sudden upset cannot be called patience. Anxiety is what disturbs the heart and brings the person sorrow, changing his complexion and his state.

The beginning of patience may be bitter, but its end is sweet for some people; but for others both its beginning and end are bitter. Whoever enters it at its end has entered it. Whoever enters it from its beginning has left it. A person who knows the value of patience cannot bear to be without it.

Prophet Yusuf / Joseph (peace be upon him) was jailed under the orders of the Aziz of Egypt. When his companion in the jail was being released Prophet Yusuf / Joseph (peace be upon him) requested him to recommend his matter to the Aziz so that he too be released. At this angel Gabriel / Jibreel (peace be upon him) appeared in the jail and made him look at the floor of the jail. When Prophet Yusuf / Joseph (peace be upon him) did so he could see the bottoms of the earth and sea. Prophet Yusuf / Joseph (peace be upon him) also saw in the bottom of the earth an Ant with a particle of grain in its mouth.

Angel Gabriel / Jibreel (peace be upon him) said, “Do you think that your God who does not forget even this Ant at the bottom of the earth and feeds it, would let you go out of His mind?”

“Now for this impatience of yours you are ordered to remain in jail for seven more years.”

Moral : For some, the initial phase of patience is bitter while its final phase is sweet, while for others, its initial as well as its final phase is bitter, while for yet others, patience, in all phases, is sweet.

Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib(AS) said:

“I will be patient till even patience tires of my patience”

-Wish you a good day!

    1. Try to be one, mostly impatience is a human’s habit and beleive me there can be many mishaps if everyone of us become impatient.
Also some times we have to be patient in many unavoidable circumstances , like say when a mother gives birth to a child or a person is in critical condition, etc. Etc.
